Speaking to The Athletic journalist Ryan Conway on this subject, Rooney said: “Ask West Brom (about Lawrence). But Tom will be going nowhere. No amount of money will get him out of this football club. That’s for sure.”
Thats fine by me.
However, everyone knows its complete bollocks too , financially Derby are fucked Maybe this is a manager staking out his ground. If he goes, I'm off. He would either keep a player he values, or be able to leave head high.
We hear that Derby are skint, so you're probably right that they'd have to accept any decent offer.
But no manager can manage properly without the right tools.

Adam Armstrong is off to Southampton, so there’s one to cross off the list.

Always off to the PL that fella. We're shopping in the Strikers budget aisle next door. Loans, potential with risk and players who've been around a bit and not quite made it.

More chance of bringing Alun Armstrong back out of retirement, but then again we’d have to pay compensation to Darlington, so not sure we’d even be able to afford it.

Alan Tichmarsh on the radar. Good on grass, I’ve heard.

I know where you are coming from - but we might need a Plan B if teams work out our 3 4 3 system
In any system whatsoever I'd still have him in instead of Livermore. We'll need an element of guile as well as the lads working their bollox off.

Chalobah looking unlikely now… Hes impressed Tuchel in preseason, and whilst he’s still available for loan their preference is for him today CB.
Palace out the running due to loaning Gallagher…
