Nothing to see here, really, except another sad and sorry chapter in a certain protagonist’s wonderful (and, yes, as-yet unconvicted) attention-seeker doing his absolute utmost to preserve his relevance in a quest for right wing martyrdom. Part of me thinks that in most likelihood he wants to be tried and convicted - it all helps his cause as the self-proclaimed villain in what continues to manifest in an increasingly tiresome culture war pantomime, which few of us really care that much about; and hope (like this cretin) will eventually starve himself of useful oxygen and just go away so the rest of us can get on with life.

Having said all of that, the media are almost equally as culpable by being taken in by it. Not unlike that loathsome creature Katie Hopkins, or even Farage for that matter, this particular ilk’s main cause is putting food on the table. And the more attention they get (irrespective of arrests, X-storms, controversy etc.) the better the food.
