I just worry that we’re right back in Pulis/Pardew territory. We’ve got enough in there, but just forgotten how to do it. We really need a galvanising Big Dave type to instil some belief and some collective responsibility, ASAP. But instead, we’ve another Fratboy youngster who’s never really kicked a ball. As strange managerial choices go, I kind of get the logic, but it just isn’t working yet.
But who knows. If that first win comes on Saturday, somehow, who’s to say we don’t all of a sudden see a different Albion? With whoever and however we do it, we’ve never needed it so badly as we do right now.
