Absolutely nails Starmer and Labour and all the Centrist Dad’s that are really Tories but can’t quite admit it to themselves, so defend the direction that the Labour Party have taken. Well done to Pie for being as objective in his criticism of this government as he was the previous ones, something our Blue Labour apologists might want to take onboard.
Very easy to be the party of protest - If you are now discounting this and Blair’s Labour as centrist Dads give your head a wobble. The Labour you want is pointless without any time in actual power.
It’s not 1997…
What did you disagree with Pie about in the video?
You do know that Pie is a comedy construct and not a real person.
I have no time for Starmer or this current iteration of the Labour Party, but this isn't a time for him to resign or be forced from office.
The electoral system we use gave Labour a huge parliamentary majority at the last GE, less than 2 years ago. I think we won be better off as a country if we had a period of political stability and allowed the elected govt to get on with governing. They may prove to be very bad at it, and you would have to say that they haven't got off to a great start, but the idea that things would noticeably improve within 2 years was naive in the extreme.
And I'm not sure this is a resigning issue. Appointing Mandelson as Ambassa
Ambassador was a big mistake, not just because of his friendship with Epstein. But it's not a reason for Starmer to go.
