They scored with their only 2 really good shooting chances (both great finishes) and everything else Griffiths had to do was pretty basic stuff.
For us, we created 2 great chances in the first half. Heggebø miss particularly poor. We also created numerous non-Mason moments in the 2nd half.
Don't get me wrong there is plenty to work on, but that was our most structured performance of the season.
I'm really surprised you're pinning that 3rd goal on Taylor, Jacko. Phillips was facing the play, goal side of the man and best placed to go with his run and try to put in a challenge. As so often he stood and watched him go. Taylor was half turned and also had another player to mark.
Phillips and Mepham have got worse week on week. Are they really dog shit defenders? You'd think not. So why have they forgotten the basics? Don't tell me they need a coach to tell them how to do the simplest things. Maybe they don't really give a shit. They just don't seem up for a scrap IMO.
Too easy to get in behind him down the channel on both the inside and the outside, we saw it at Swansea and saw it last evening, his lack of pace particularly late in games will continue to cost us hugely, him being a left footer isn't enough of a boom to risk continuing to pick him.
