Sandwell Councillor defects to Reform

As I have said my views are not for here as freedom of speech is a thing of the past, how sad.

I don't believe that's true. It's just that there are too many on here who refuse to see the wood for the trees.

I get the impression that most posters on this part of the board are relatively comfortable MCWs and wholly unreflective of society and its views at large. 

One of the most disarming utterances on the doorstep for whoever I might have campaigned for over a couple of decades was "you don't know what it's like here" or "you don't live here" particularly when talking about housing struggles, ASB, failing schools etc. It's true, I don't - not anymore. And in my experience the various MCWs who campaign for parties of the left are even more clueless.
