See Starc off and score off the rest has to be the plan going forward. The rest of their attack is pretty shite.

That reasonable plan requires a brain, though. 

Completely agree with you. We also need to bat time, to tire Starc out. At the moment he's their only consistently dangerous bowler. The more overs we can make him bowl, the better.

Test cricket is more nuanced than swinging the bat around to score quickly. If we had good cricket match management we'd have a very good team. Unfortunately we throw too many games away, and are too arrogant to adapt to the match situation to be more successful than we actually are.
