All talk about building to win the Ashes in Australia this time around - years of planning. And then this performance is turned in. It's pathetic.
Let's be clear here, Australia are understrength and haven't had to do anything special to win at a canter. They've bowled well, but nothing viscous or sustained unplayable spells.
I don't think anyone can defend this lackluster performance. Lots of questions, and lots to worry about. And that's just to avoid a whitewash - forget a series win!
