As it involved a narco cartel there was lots of violence, some in context, and some I felt was gratuitous, along the lines of Breaking Bad and Ozark. One character in particular was seriously weird.
But overall another great performance from Billy Bob Thornton and cast, but not for the faint hearted.
On to series 3.
Just finished season 4 last night. Loved it.
It's 2 a.m. Had to finish Goliath series 4 as I couldn't go to bed wondering how it finished. Loved the homage to High Noon and the Chinatown setting.
Brilliant.
