Changing the ball if it goes out of shape should not be allowed. It's a ridiculous rule.
If you don't want the ball to go out of shape, find a way to take wickets and bowl the opposition out quickly, or find a way to stop the batsmen hitting the ball which in turn puts it out of shape.
