Well, the Eagles absolute destroyed the Chiefs last night. The Eagles defense just had their way with the Chiefs O-Line. Constant pressure with 4 guys up front, and the rest in coverage giving Mahomes nothing to throw at. He made a few poor throws, especially the Dejean pick 6, but he was being hit on nearly every play. But also, key drops at key times. First drive, Kelce dropped an easy first down. End of the first half, Hopkins was wide the fuck open, bizarrely went with one hand and dropped what was probably a 30 yard gain, which, if they convert it's 17-7, Chiefs get the ball start of the 2nd half, and we have a game.

Even worse than their O-Line, the offensive scheme just seemed... non-existent? Chiefs didn't seem to try anything to slow down the pass rush. Didn't move the pocket, try quick screens or 3 step drop and throw. Nothing. Really really poor from their whole offense, including the staff, bar Worthy who did what you'd want from him.

The other side of the ball, the Chiefs defense absolutely did their job. Kept the Eagles offense to effectively 10 points in the first half (pick 6 and then the other Mahomes INT that put the Eagles on the 10, can't really blame the defense for that. You take that defensive performance.

Eagles had considerably the better roster, and they absolutely made it show.
