Often times under Corberan we'd advance to the edge of the box but saw no "easy" pass that could result in a shot at goal, hence either having to work the ball back and around or take a chance on trying to beat an opposition player.
Portsmouth, like Bristol City and Preston, were very open and they were quite ineffective when it came to tackling us, leaving us to basically run through them at will.
We actually carried the ball into the final third a low amount too. But we carried and passed into the box more than most of the season. Again because of the space we had to play into I think.
I'm getting confused now. If we didn't particularly carry or pass the ball into the final third, how did we get the bloomin' thing up there?
