Understanding is Albion agreed package with Wicky on coaching staff, but one coach then turned down his offer while the other was unable to get a visa. #wba
It's a shame this issue wasn't discovered earlier in the process. I hope this isn't going to be a problem with other overseas coaches and their teams that we go for
For the club, part of the due diligence would be to affirm such things and, when they did, it failed, so deal off. That's good practice surely?
Or did Wicky give assurances during interview and then they backed out when actually approached (which would make our prospective new coach untrustworthy)?
