It's a no from me. His brand of ultra defensive football would have the purists scratching out their own eyeballs. Nice guy and all that, could be successful in the right environment, but I'd prefer someone with a bit more of a playing style. He and his family are based locally so that might be why he would have an interest. (If that isn't enough for you, his family are all villa fans as well)!
Edit; I'm sure KRO can vouch for what Bluenoses thought of his unadventurous approach.
Blues were doing ok with Eustace then they decided they needed to be more ‘exciting’ and they got worse after he left to the point they were relegated.
They were doing just fine, as are Blackburn now. But if you thought Carlos' football was boring I wouldn't expect you to be thrilled with Eustace. Very effective manager though at this level. and deserving of a chance at a club that could go that step further. I just don't fancy that football but I could guess his local links may have as much to do with it as anything.
Sacking Eustace wasn’t the problem. Appointing Rooney and Uncle Tony getting ill was. We’re a league below and I wouldn’t swap Chris Davies for Eustace ever.
After all the money you've spent I could get you promoted this season. The fact that Chris Davies is scraping through really doesn't say much about his abilities at this point. I'll judge him next season IF you get promoted
