I’ve been trying to get my head around how decent people can vote for Trump. My only conclusion is an extremely liberal Democratic Party are seen by some as more repulsive.
If you are conservative by nature, accepting change slowly the anything goes attitude of liberalism without stigma can appear seedy I guess.
After all we live in an era where homosexuality is very much publicised on TV and there is a very open and highly publicised debate on gender ideology that appears to get too much airplay and is seen as extremely strange to many people.
I guess that mixed in with a fear of mass immigration is a pretty good stick to beat liberal values with.
I’d like to say I’m only guessing. Those aren’t my views being quite liberal myself.
