Someone has been detained (rather than killed) so, if it was a lone shooter, hopefully the true motive will be established one way or the other. It's extremely important that the FBI does that quickly and correctly.

It is too far fetched to think this guy Routh has been captured alive, so he'll say that he was inspired by something Harris said or worse still someone associated to the Democrats paid him to do it.

Luckily there was a conveniently placed "witness" who took a picture of the shooter making his escape, so he was captured quickly so he can tell his story.

Reports are saying Routh voted for Trump in 2016 and then felt let down by him and is big supporter of Ukraine.

No doubt Trump will call Fake News, blame the Democrats and finish off his cat supper.

He is a well known cheat at golf from what I remember hearing a while back, and maybe the shooter was an aggrieved opponent who pulled out his AK47 instead of his putter, as that would be something you'd normally carry in your golf bag over there.

In reality, the likely reason for Routh could be the rumours of Trump withdrawing support from Ukraine to force a settlement with Russia. He did say he would he would resolve the war before his inauguration in last week's debate.

Routh has been over there to fight for Ukraine apparently and trying to recruit more to go over there.
