Look at any videos with him in the 80s and 90s and he's an articulate bloke.

Trump's cognitive functions have clearly declined, he's unable to string a coherent sentence together without rambling. I don't see why that is relevant.

It's totally relevant Borin, because even if you look at stuff a few years before he became president he did not behave/sound that way. I do agree that his mind has gone somewhat, but think it's a mix of narcissism thrown in there too.

I've seen interviews with linguistic experts showing how Trump has dumbed down his vocabulary and behavioural experts showing he has acted like a thick redneck, so some morons in a one horse town in Hicksville think he's like them, rather than a cosmopolitan New Yorker born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

There's a huge part of what Trump is doing that is an act. However, I do agree that he has mentally lost the plot.

He stops mid sentence and goes off on completely unrelated, he didn't do that in the 1980s and 1990s and it's a significantly worse issue now than it was eight years ago. I think it's pretty irrelevant to compare cognitive functions of 78 year old with a 48 year old.

I'm not disagreeing Borin. I think he's lost the plot and mentally is not what he was. However, I do think he has become a dangerous power mad dictator. Whatever it all is, we pretty-much think the same.
