Fundamentally too early to say how this election will be framed or pan out, hence the commentatorati are pissing on the hot sauna stones and declaring the steam as wisdom.

Indeed. Early polling isn't great with Trump having anywhere between a 3 and 8 point lead. But miles of road to run yet.

Just hope that Trump's  next bit of incoherent rambling (and it will happen) is given the same scrutiny that Biden's lapses were. I know that a lot of the US media will try to gloss it over, but lots of undecided voters will make up their own minds at the sight of a 78 year old man losing track of what he was attempting to say.
