As there's been nothing today, tomorrow seems like the most obvious day for a completion announcement if indeed it is going to be finalised this week. I wouldn't have thought they'll want to announce it too close to the Hull game, so as not to be a distraction to what's a very important match. I can't imagine it being left until Sunday either.

Therefore, assuming everything is still properly on track, fingers crossed for tomorrow!

With that in mind I'd be inclined to leave the official announcement until Monday. There's seven days in a calendar week and all I'm bothered about is that it goes through without further complication. They can leave it until next Thursday for all I care, it's not like we're at home to Coventry on Friday or anything   .

As it was said with certainty last week that the takeover would be completed this week, I think lots of people will get rather twitchy if nothing is announced this week!

Lai also said he'd repay the overdue loan circa Sumer 2022, December 2022 and early in the new year (meaning early 2023).  So as Lai is involved, I wouldn't hold your breath as I wouldn't put it past him to have moved the goal posts for the takeover.
