With respect Jacko those assumptions are way off the mark. If you knew some of the stuff Lai was trying to do without intervention then believe me it wouldn’t have ended this way.

Such as the proposed

declaration of a dividend from WBA Group Ltd to use to "repay" the loan?

sale of Pereira to a Chinese football team and for some of Pereira's transfer fee to be banked by WBA Group Ltd and the remainder of the fee disappears?

and the above are stuff we DO know that were in the accounts / media outlets.

I dread to imagine what we haven't heard, yet!!

This I heard from a good source, circa Feb/Mar 2020, and hinted at on here but got no further info.  S4A played a big part in getting news out and A4A did well to raise a protest. It may not have been everyone's cup of tea but Lai was pulling strokes AOTS and we badly need him gone.
