An "NDA" doesn't allow anyone to "let out tiny snippets". They are legally watertight. Enforcing them though is a drawn out and costly process.
And you have to agree an NDA with EVERYONE who might find out information. You only have to miss out an admin or sub contractor and it's no longer watertight.
