I can't be bothered with quoting paragraphs from numerous posts but basically agree with Derek H and Bob Fossil.
Increasing season ticket prices will not raise any kind of regular increases in income. The area is on it's backside in terms of income. It in no way has the same demographic as the areas compared whose clubs enjoy single club/city status with numerous towns nearby without football clubs and probably much less immigration of people that have no allegiance or family history relating to the local clubs.
On the point of average attendance. Of course it is lower than in the past, we can't boost it with the odd 38-40,000. As a town club we have rarely had the huge attendances of our local rivals but conversely, we seem to have a loyal crowd. when in the same (lower) league position as Wolves and Blues our gates compare very well.
I think the club have it right on pricing, it is just about everything else that they have wrong!
