That’s partly accurate. However, if we can increase are revenues in areas like sponsorship and stadium naming rights (generated through the new owners brand / reach) then we can offset.
Is Adam the new Bannan?

And not forgetting substantially increasing ST and match ticket prices. I knew you’d like that idea
By substantially, you mean around 50%? Currently let's say we're doing 21k at an average of £380 (which obviously we're not), that's circa £8m, raising them to around £550 average and assuming the same sales figures only gets you around £3m -£4m extra and you're then assuming that all of the 21k would renew, which I suspect wouldn't happen. You'd probably drop 3 - 4 k in sales (so you're looking around an extra 1-2m, but now you've potentially lost 3-4k of your fans)... pretty much negating any extra income that the increase would have bought...
increasing a modest amount say £50 (so an average around £430), you'll probably lose a few, but the increase will bring in just shy of an extra 1m.... so let's say you put off 500 people, that kind of level of increase is probably far more sensible.
It's not just headline ticket prices that matter, think of an extra 3/4k people now no longer buying merchandise and watery piss beer and microwaved pies...
Then again, I don't have any financial qualifications, I just think putting fans off this day in age, for a negligible benefit is crazy.
Hopefully it didn't go over your head though...
Happy New one.
My tongue was firmly in my cheek when I wrote my post.
Although, I did know our tickets were cheap in comparison to other Champ teams, but I didn't realise we were the 3rd cheapest. Shirley that is one area of possibility the new owners will look at to increase revenue.
You will notice a correlation between the price of the tickets and league positions.
