Lepkowski has today downplayed the takeover talks, by saying it’s unlikely that anything will conclude in the next fortnight.
Well we will see but Goldberg and Lepkowski seem to have there own agenda about the Albion.

Can't imagine many lawyers and finance spurts are working in the next two weeks, so no surprise.

I’d say most will be working up to and including Friday.   Then firms may close for Xmas and will re-open until Tue 2nd Jan. Meaning they will be closed for 3 working days (27th to 29th Dec inc).

There are only 3 bank holidays. In my day a bank would offer a full service, including corporate banking on all days. I've completed deals on the morning of Christmas Eve before now, FFS.
