I really enjoyed the Expanse, allowing for the effects being a bit cheap at times. Bloody annoyed that they ended it though.
If you haven't given the books a read, they're really good. I've read the first two, and some of the accompanying short stories so far, and it's great.
I heard from a friend that they finished the TV show on around book 6, there's 3 further books and some more short stories, so if you're hankering for an ending, it's out there.
The costs of filming are high compared to what it makes and given that books 7-9 are set about 30 years after the events of book 6 and season 6 you can see why they cancelled it.
