There aren't many games from pre-2000 that stand the test of time. They even have to be timelessly simple like Tetris or stone cold classics like the 2D Mario games or SNES Zelda.
Most of it will underwhelm now.
I always enjoy replaying Resident Evil games to unlock the superweapons and just blast through everything that moves.
