Their is an absolute belief that the aggressive route is for us and there's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. They're so confident it's the right approach and the "no blame" culture when they give their wickets away breeds it. When Brook was swinging and missing last night and almost got clean bowled he just laughed about it. Stokes is smiling from the other end! He should have come drown the pitch and bollocked him.
This confidence\arrogance is coach and captain driven in a cult-like approach towards "We play this way, win or lose". Which is slightly different to the Kohli arrogance towards umpires and the opposition who have the audacity to get or give him out.
Kohli obsession reached new heights.
I just thought I'd relate it back to Indian cricket to help you see it. We all know you're a cyclops in that respect.
And yes I agree the top from the playing/players persepective. They're unlikely to back down any time soon which could see a few comfortable Aussie wins and England will probably smash them in a dead rubber and claim Baz Ball works after all.
Stokes is no Mike Brierely. At the moment his batting isn't at a level to justify a place and he can't bowl with the injuries. Helluva call...
So when I say plenty indulge in the dark arts you will only accept it if I specifically name Kohli?
Cyclops yes.... if you're referring to others.
Where does it say plenty indulge in the dark arts?
Where is Cuzer anyway, he's not usually far from a cricket thread.
Labuschagne looked plum. Why was that not reviewed? Awful decision by the umpire.
