As a Worcester fan, as long as England win , I would happily see Woakes have figures of 10 overs , no maidens , none for 600. Villa supporter.
But, regarding spin, my lad played junior cricket , and wanted to try bowling spinners. The `Coach`( I use the term loosely ), basically said, `no, you`re too young, bowl medium pace ` etc. He ended playing wicket keeper.
