I began Drake's Fortune last night. I can't believe it's 16 years old this year. It still looks incredible. The story itself is ridiculously OTT, there's nothing special or groundbreaking about the gameplay, but it's a bloody fun game. Even after all these years. Admittedly I'm playing the remastered version, but even so, it's aged well enough. From memory Uncharted 2 was easily the best game of the series.
They’re like big budget Hollywood action blockbusters, full of big dumb set pieces and action that’s fun to play through, but I’ve never had any burning desire to go back to any of them.
The story is almost irrelevant in them as well, I'd probably replay 4 as it looked so good though.
