Kids are 11 and 9, they’ve got switches and iPads and everything. I’m thinking of buying the three of us a PS5 as a joint main present, is that a good gift or will it merk my elder daughter? Think I may have to pad it out as a gift a bit to keep her sweet. #topdadding
Love my PS5, but am at the stage where I've nothing to play, or rather nothing I've got is keeping me playing.
Any console choice will ultimately come down to the games, if there's nowt for your kids then it'll be a bad choice, unless you claim it for yourself....
The whole industry feels in a bit of a rut right now. Think they’re still managing the fallout from crunch culture and studios being shut during the pandemic and everyone being forced to WFH, which is leading to games taking longer to get out.
I’m enjoying going through my backlog until GOW:R comes out next month. Finally got round to finishing Half Life 2 over the weekend.
Since I game so infrequently (work, kids, o/h with health issues occupies most of my time, the rest I’m just knackered or on here), I don’t think selection is going to be a problem. Cheers both.
Games industry seems to be very remake-focussed right now. Which is great, but like the music industry and covers it smacks of lack of fresh ideas. All that being said, can’t wait for next GTA.
