I've just got back to the hotel after watching the Eagles at Anfield.
I am not an Eagles fan, easy listening music for middle aged fat women, most of whom were waddling in the aisles.
They turned up, played their set, some of which I did not recognise, made little attempt to engage with the audience, and did the job.
I was in the Main Stand so a fair way from the stage and the sound simply did not reach. No doubt down at pitch level it was better, but it's a five out of ten for me.
As usual the crowd control stewards were total wankers but smarty dressed in LFC suits. But still complete twats.
The four lads on the stage in the Cavern on Saturday night knocking out Beatles numbers were better value for money.
Also did the Beatles Story museum. Well worth a visit to understand the serendipity of certain people being in the right place at the right time to change music history.
