Over 60 hours into Forbidden West. The main story is great, I've two missions left, but I'm holding off completing, and doing all quests, side missions etc. And I'm only 55% complete, towards full completion!
I love this game, but there's simply too much to do, to the extent it's beginning to drag.
Why do they make games so big nowadays? Quality not quantity! And when a game has both, it kinda ruins the experience. As good as Horizon's gameplay is, there's only so many times you can travel to a quest, kill machines, collect an item, or rescue folks, and return to the quest giver, before it gets repetitive.
When a game is this big it puts me off re-playing after I complete it. I'd rather have a game that takes 20/30 hours to complete, but you still want to replay it afterwards.
It's difficult, the game is so good, and I really don't want to say anything negative about it, but that's how I feel!
That may come across contradictory, but hopefully folks will understand where I'm coming from.
