Our kids have historically not performed well whilst out on loan. There are exceptions, but the majority of our kids have failed to make an impact whilst on loan, picked up a long term injury or both. Before we send our more promising outfield players out we need to get to the bottom of this.
Back to TGH, last season he was one of our best players. We looked a better team with him and despite playing multiple positions he was a contender for MOTM in more games than not. For me, he should still be one of the first names in the team until we see otherwise and to send him out on loan completely negates the opportunity he has more than earned and sends an entirely negative message to the rest of the kids who should be using TGH as inspiration.
