Some good and not so good news I heard this morning, the numbers in hospital are going up by nearly 25% week on week but apparently 2/3rds to 3/4s of them are not being admitted for covid. It does bring a problem of keeping them separate from the non-covid patients but it does indicate that the situation isn’t as bad as having all (or even the majority) of those admissions purely for covid.
The only bummer with it all being so rife is we are looking after my MIL who has COPD this weekend and my missus has just tested positive. This will be the real test of how it impacts.
