The vaccination progress is remarkable. 650k in the last 24 hours is an incredible effort by the NHS. As much as it pains me to say it, and they gave got very little else right, the govt deserve credit taking such a large punt on procurement early doors.
The figures on infections do confuse me when looking at them this week. Over half of boroughs seem to be in the red and increasing even though overall numbers are dropping week on week. As long as these don't feed through to hospitals we do seem on a very positive road at the moment.
