You can do it with a raspberry pi for half the price.
I had a raspberry pi but just couldn’t get on with it.
They do take a bit of learning, the new one has 2 4K outputs and is incredibly powerful.
I struggled with a few things - all the various setups, formatting and what not... Then I got a mate to set it up for me, loaded 11,000 games across a dozen systems - Megadrive, SNES, PS1, N64, etc and the choice simply overwhelmed me. There was too much for me to get grips with, I’d spend ages just trawling through lists looking for something to play.
My mini-SNES has about 60 or so games that I hand picked to play so shouldn’t be as overwhelming. I also like playing these games on their original software/controllers so these mini consoles are as good as you can get to the originals.
I’ve also got a mini PS1 which I bought for 30 quid then bought a memory stick for 20 with another 100 classic games loaded on to it.
