Field & Leko

Feels like we have seen the last of them in the stripes given their ages.

We have younger players breaking through from the academy and overtaking them.

If they aren't seen as championship level, it will take a lot for them to be trusted should we go up.

Not at all. Field will always be a late bloomer due to his style of play, coming into the game late and character. Leko just needs a tiny bit of intelligence only regular first team football can give.

This is their big chance, hopefully they'll seize it together, good lads who you want to make it.

But they have gone to Charlton so we do see them as Champ level.

Perform well & we have Two new signings for next season or at the worst we increase sale value,

Eh?? Field is 21 and Leko 20... Diangana who we've borrowed from West Ham is 21...I really doubt that West Ham think that that is the last they will see of him!

Leko & Field need to play games at a decent level, at Charlton they will hopefully do that. They'll come back and be 22ish... a perfect age for a player to really make their mark.

However, *if* we go up, then everything changes anyway, but *if* we don't then I can see both of them playing more for us next year.

Both would be bit part at best here, but at Charlton will play more often than not.

Exactly the move they both need.

And getting their wages off the wage bill will cover a few weeks of Austin Wink

It's a win win, they get match time and a chance to develop and grow. We get better more experienced players. Field will be a grafter for any team. With them being at Charlton a few members on here can keep an eye on them.
