Audience with...

There's a night out at Walsall Golf club next week - one of them "An audience with..." things.

Dingle Don and "Worldie" Cuntis Davies are the guests - who decided that would get the Albion fans flocking to attend?

I'm washing my hair that night, both of 'em.

I`ve had to decline due to a subsequent engagement.

The Former Player's Association do some great things.

I was however surprised at the choice of Mr. Davies for this event. When he left for the Seal Sanctuary he behaved like a churlish prick. A very unprofessional churlish prick. At least Goodman has kept involved with the FPA, supporting events, etc.

Rather dip me balls in cream and offer them to a feral cat.

They couldn’t pay me to attend

I’d like to attend just to ask Cuntis if Aston Villa are still a ‘pub team’ now he’s gone, and Dingle Don if he enjoyed Pat Van Den Hauwe’s FA Cup challenge on him which wrecked his season. Which I had sympathy for, until he became such a dingle lover.

I'd rather trim my pyabs with rusty barbed wire than meet either of those two chunts

I don't really get the "pantomime villain" status of Dingle Don. He was a great player for us, and you can't expect professionals to respect the tribal attitude of fans. Football's a job and the Wolves were an employer for him. We cashed in on him for a good fee and replaced him with SuperBob. Win win.

As for Curtis, I never understood why people rated him so highly. He never impressed me as a player, and his (allegedly) contractual right to be captain was disastrous for the club. No leadership, clearly not much respected by the other players, then refused to play while waiting for his dream move across the great divide. Even worse, we picked up the abysmal Leon Barnett from Luton to replace him. Was that some sort of deal in lieu of a sell-on fee? "We'll take a bang average player off your hands"?

TBH, that Everton tie trashed our season completely, with Goodman and Anderson sidelined for many weeks.
