I’ve never claimed what you keep claiming. I’ve compared what players cost. Nothing more.
Where the money comes from is irrelevant to most as well. Ask Man City and the rest to confirm that.

Lisa stansfield would have done better.

Tbh I think all of Man City’s achievements are pretty irrelevant… ‘anyone can go shopping’

Your fanbase should remember that in the coming years Wink

About the same as you paid for Dike. Less than you paid for Grant. Diangana. Olly Burke.
Stansfield was really poor btw on Tuesday. Lots of ours didnt play well. That wasn’t a standard Blues home performance though. But we still should have won the game really

You know we bought those players from the money we earn’t from TV and media deals, whilst either in the Prem or thanks to parachute payments. None of it came from rich owners throwing money at us, it all came from our relative success at the time.

If you get to the top table none of it will have been earn’t just bought. I know you won’t care but you’re comparing apples and pears when talking about our expenditure and yours.

You do have a habit of posting a reply which doesn’t mean a lot to what others post and you quote.
Almost all owners nowadays put money into a club. Yours no different. PAR dictates the amount. Ours are spending on the team and infrastructure to increase revenue long term to invest year on year. Yours no different know that though as you’ve advocated that as the way forward

I didn't realise you signed Stansfield for 7 million, Sky sports reckons it was more than double that (15+ million rising to 20).

I've seen blues a few times this season. That performance looked relatively standard to me, but admittedly I'm not there every week so you might turn into Real Madrid when I'm not watching Big Grin

Not Real Madrid , but good enough to put 3 past Cov and 4 past Millwall and Norwich and to score in every other league game at home.
Well you didn't get 3 or 4 against the  Albion. Just the one in fact, over 2 games. In fact after getting just one point from the last 39 available away, we managed to double that tally on Tuesday night. The disappointment from your fans speaks volumes for the levels of expectation raised by scattergun spending. Yet how many Blues fans had honestly heard of any of these players recently signed let alone are able  vouch for their ability?  Many of the bluenoses I know were adamant they would walk through this division,  now they want to change the offside rules, the handball rules and think goal line clearances are dark arts. Despite this being our worst season in 30 years its still honours even on field.

I don’t know any Blues fan who thought we’d walk the division. Or change the laws.
But we’re pretty happy with how things are looking. Optimism is great our away form has been poor but I still expect us to try and win games. The glee from a nil nil draw from you and others. speaks volumes about how things change quickly.
