As much as I'd love a cup-run, we have too many injuries and players to bed in not to use this as an opportunity to put some minutes into the legs of players.
Dike
Bostock
Whitwell
Mustapha/Jama
Diakite
Price
Campbell
Gilchrist
Taylor
Styles
O'Leary - would like to give Josh 90 mins, but think we need to build on MO'Ls form from last night.

Dike needs minutes but to put him in goal is outrageous.

Honestly, I wasn't much bothered about that cup tie when he was drawn, but now I care not a flying fugg. An honorable defeat with a makeshift side is fine for me. I'm looking forward to a weekend without the league worry, and I almost wish we'd lost the pens v Swansea.

Just play the kids, players coming back from injury and those not making the first team. It’s meaningless this year for us, we aren’t going to get anywhere winning it so treat it as a glorified training session.

This, however I suspect it would be seen as a disservice to all the travelling fans if they did this and they'd get pelters...

Possibly, but any away fan must realise the situation we find ourselves in, and not expect quite a few changes. I used to go to the League Cup games at home and I pretty much knew that it would be a team made up of reserves, young players and those returning from injury.

As I suggested in my Fred this morning. I would go full-ish.
Right now momentum and fan feeling is so important. We need more rhythm and practice time in game to really cement the improvements.

+1 for me too. The way injuries are going we may need some of these kids; best to rest the walking wounded and offer the sideliners a chance to impress.
We can’t really moan about squad depth in one breath and then hope for a cup run in another. Not this year, at least.

I'm torn between this and a full rotation - given how many of our players are blowing out of their arses at the moment, I think 2 weeks rest could do them the world of good.
I'd not even take Heggebo, Mowatt or Mikey to Norwich. Let them stay home with their feet up.

I think I would go a mixture - with our small squad and injuries right now plus the importance of the week after the Norwich game I would be looking at 7/8 changes
Imray, Gilchrist, Diakite, Whitwell, Bostock, Maja and Dike should all be used with maybe a couple of the other 'starting 11).
Totally would leave Heggebo, Mowatt, Mikey and Phillips out right now
