Collyer who played 5 games and was injured, left. And SIJ - Who many thought was shit and the rest thought was t good enough has left. We have signed a keeper who may or may not be any better, another young attacker who at least knows the club and will be high on confidence after a winner in the Europa cup. And an attacking RB/RWB who's been the best player for his respective teams in leagues 1/2 in the last couple of years. That's quite the claim that we're weaker at this stage as frankly none of us know.

Whether Collyer played 5 games or 20 for him to go and not be replaced makes us weaker.
Agreed the GK is almost like for like and frankly the Imray cant be any worse than SIJ However when you then add Grant being replaced by someone with 2 senior appearances then I would certainly say we are weaker

Collyer would have started many games if he had stayed fit though. I'm surprised we haven't replaced him.

Windup or not?

I'll never again be worried that a manager might have suffered an aneurism and picked Joe Wildsmith, literally the worst goalkeeper we've had in the 35 years I've been going up and we had Button ffs. The Seal was appallingly bad at Derby, even worse on Saturday, he had to be fucked off. It limits the manager to Styles, which is absolutely fine and dandy imo. Sometimes when players are so poor it's better to have less options. |
