They were there for the taking

There for the taking isn't the right phrase, but we certainly could have won that tonight after a stirring fight back.

I was really impressed with how we played, overall. The last 10 mins and 20 mins into the second half was a struggle, but I'm happy to put that down to Boro being a better side than us. Doesn't mean it's not poor, mind.

I'm not sure how you can walk away from that with complete negativity, then I think you're wrong. Lots to be optimistic about.

It can feel a bit robotic and over coached but probably what these players need.

Against, probably the best team to play us at the Hawthorns, we were unlucky to lose tonight. I'm sure Eric learned a lot. SIJ played well in his correct position. MJ ain't a wingback. We miss AM in midfield. Second half, a ractical tweak changed the game in our favour after their 2nd goal. Switched MJ to the left. The overload on that side caused Boro massive problems. This gave Price a bit more space, and he started to look a bit more like the player of 20 games ago. Jed also made a difference when he came on. Overall, we really were worth a draw. We have had little luck this season. Their first goal compounded that. Surely we will start to get a few breaks? I said to the missus on our 3 hour drive home that out of these 2 home games, the Norwich game is of more importance to win. Play like we did for the majority of the second half, we win that.

Three hours to get to Wednesbury? The IKEA Triangle claims another victim. #PrayforWednesburyBaggie.
