Agree. I think they wanted him in the summer and you can see why; I'd made my mind up on Mason after 7 matches (Middlesbrough away), it was obvious then there was no system, no tactical plan, no repeatable patterns of play. Had to wait until Sheffield Wednesday at home for most to concur that he wasn't improving or learning and wasn't likely to, we've  limped along since then until it became untenable.

I fully expect to see a system emerge very quickly under Ramsay, on paper he seems to be everything Mason isn't, has worked his way up from nothing as opposed to getting 'looked after' following the bad injury, he is erudite, and intensely focused. I'm very excited about the appointment.
