The cops reaction was over the top by UK standards and the outcome is polarising the Americans again. There is one certain fact though, regardless of why she was there, why she was stopped by police and the cops behaviour she would still be alive today if she had simply complied with instructions. Stop and get out isn't difficult to understand or particularly threatening.

She wasn't stopped by police. She was killed by an immigration enforcement agent.

Indeed and ICE have no jurisdiction over anyone who is a US citizen.

Also, just because someone is dressed up in a uniform doesn't make them bone fide. There have been incidents along these lines and ICE has an extremely poor reputation in every respect to say the least.

That the media (and anyone else for that matter) gives any credence whatsoever to Trump and his cronies over what happened, when the video evidence shows it as plain as day, is both pathetic and shameful. Ms Good was murdered and the killer should stand trial for it.

Oh yeah my bad. She was clearly told to drive away after innocently driving past people with guns doing their job as intructed. Ffs take your silly blinkers off. There were two people who exited the vehicle, one literally said move along and the other tried to open the door saying open the door. This happened in 5 seconds. A third person who was under no threat because the vehicle was moving away with the wheels turned to full lock against the direction of travel then shot to kill. ICE then proceeded to block a medical response which could only happen when the police came and intervened to allow a response to resuscitate by which point it was too late. There's fucking video of this

Show them your hands, shut your yap, await them putting the cuffs on you, stay alive and then get legal help. Fortunately guns aren't allowed in this country or a few of you renegade soldiers of virtue would be missing in action. I really can't understand how anyone can see it any other way. I have not agreed with what happened or the policies of a madman just pointed out that it could have been resolved differently and without the gunshots. All the arrest avoiding training in the world wouldn't make her able to outrun a bullet ffs. She had her rights to be protesting against what they were doing but not the right to do what she fucking well liked. It's a country where people are allowed to carry a gun so these ICE men would have them. It's a classic example of what you all call FAFO.

Just seen it. Jacob Frey (the mayor) has called it spot-on.

In fact, what’s being lost in all of this is the additional, thankfully averted consequence of the ICE guy potentially endangering even more lives than the one he needlessly took by killing the driver of a moving vehicle (and not a small one either).

Let’s hope that after all of the cover-ups are exposed and the retributions brought this lovely fellow enjoys quite a substantial spell of bum-widening correction somewhere upstate, as they say. Much like the man who thought it was funny to suffocate people (and yes, I even remember some of the far-right acolytes among us justifying even that).
