The thread started talking about flags hanging outside houses just after an epic cup win by the Lionesses. No one knows the occupants of these houses but immediately they were called flag shaggers.

I’d imagine the idea that a load of Union Jacks appeared, and keep appearing, to celebrate ENGLAND winning the Euros is every bit as ridiculous as it sounds.

The picture was posted to the group Good Old Britain with the text: “flags are going up around the streets of Birmingham, join in lets see your flags going up.” In response to a complimentary comment about the church, Neal wrote: “Christians and Catholics will have to fight together against the Muslim threat. The crusades have never been conquered.”

And there was me starting to reflect on BJs post and wonder if they were just season ticket holders at the local ladies football club.

I don't necessarily look at that photo and see a bunch of bad people (feel free to share the domestic violence stats where appropriate), but given the discussion in the NI Surplus Thread, these are just the people society are forgetting about. They work, probably quite hard, they see infrastructure they used to rely on falling to pieces and the simplest, most publicised answer to their prayers is that "it's the Muslim's fault". You don't need a degree in smug to understand it really. It's why Proth is right on #Optics, as these guys are the exact demographic that are influenced by it.
