Me too. Not sure we really need Armstrong, even though he's a tidy player. Perhaps he seen as short term replacement for Racic if he moves on. I guess it would be an upgrade.

Striker the priority but SA is a class act in the Champo.  Surely he would play as the 10
We don't need strikers anymore!  Big Grin
That's a joke by the way, we do, we really do. I was 100% convinced we would bring someone in, but as the deadline looms, my confidence is waning. Especially given the lack of links.
Maybe Dike is closer than we think.

Even if the club are confident that Dike is almost at full fitness he'll still need to play in some reserve games to get up to match sharpness so is unlikely to be a viable option till March probably anyway.
Fair point. 5 games between now and 1st March, so yes, definitely need another option.

Hopefully, window doesn't close till Monday 11pm.

Tony’s first week with the squad so he will have been assessing what he feels he needs. Whilst Nestor is in charge of recruitment, Tony will still have a big say in what the squad requires and where the budget can go.

I expect we will see Racic head out the door and a striker come in on loan between now and Monday. Expect a fair bit of talk around Grady going but I don’t expect anything much to happen.

Nothing concrete regards a striker just 'irons in the fire' and Mowbray 'comfortable' if we have no further incomings.

Onions?

Would be worrying if we did nothing, we desperately need a striker. That said, if we have to challenge without one, then I’d rather do it with Mogga than anyone else.
Something will happen though, I’m confident.

Spurs journo has said that we're in the mix for Will Lankshearon loan.

Seeing Latte Lath leaving for Middlesbrough for £22.5m does make you think that any decent Championship attacker should be fetching above £20m. I like LL but he’s hardly looked like a class above everyone else in the division.
