Of course he did, he's noted for his nuanced point-making Rolleyes

Bearing in mind that Trump is someone who's implacably opposed to early voting, on what basis would they be so far ahead that people wouldn't need to vote? As things stand of course, if he wins this election (god forbid) he wouldn't be allowed to stand in 2028.

I think you need to catch up with the Project 2025 agenda.

He thinks early voting and mail-in votes are what put the Democrats over the line (are fixed/cheated somehow). He intends to remove these options. He was saying without these options the GOP would win elections comfortably. He certainly didn't mention a third term.

Project 2025 being enacted is nonsense leftie hysteria it's rhetoric and holds about as much weight as the ridiculous right wing theories that the last election was stolen, or that the climate agenda is a hoax, or the WEF attempted a 'Great Reset' during/after COVID.

He literally says “I’m not Christian” while shaking his head at 18 seconds. At BEST it was a slip of the tongue.

Even if he did say he was, no-one in their right mind would believe him.

Might as well keep it in one place as the de facto US election thread given the decent debate in the last 34 pages...

Harris names Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as running mate, to a mixed response. Centrists wanted Shapiro while Liberals wanted Walz.

Unlikely Walz delivers any states she wouldn't already expect to win, but it's a cohesive ticket that will sing from the same hymn sheet.
