It's ironic as I loathe and detest Americanisms and the ready adoption of American English to gradually replace British English.

In terms of the infiltration of US 'culture' into these sceptred isles I find it far more disconcerting that there are types of a certain political persuasion walking around in maga caps, chanting "Christ is King" and "Drain the swamp"..... fucking lemmings.

So when they say/said/ speak on behalf of ‘the people’ constantly since Brexit what they really meant was themselves and what was good for them. I’m glad after years of excuses and weasel words from client journalists and ‘the people’ we’ve cleared that up. Millions voted for their vanity and narcissism and still believe they are on their side.
