I don’t think it’s ever been more inevitable than today that he will now win and the ramifications for Europe are going to be enormous. Starmer has been wise to delay the process of appointing which person will be appointed to be the UKs lead tasked in dealing with whoever becomes president.

I am not saying that this was a set up.

However, there was a guy on a roof top holding a gun and aiming at Trump, and he stayed there long enough to take a shot without anyone taking him out despite the fact that members of the public reported him to police. Immediately after he started firing he was killed by the secret service, so they managed to locate him instantly after he started firing, but not before. There's also videos of secret service getting ready to go on stage right before the shooting happens; why didn't they run up on to the stage immediately to get Trump out of there.....or even more pertinently, shoot the guy who's holding a gun on a rooftop before he takes a shot.

I don't think even Trump is that far egotistical to take a live assassination attempt at himself. Although, I agree, things/reports are a little peculiar.
