That’s not the financial year, it’s the tax year. Our financial year end is 30th June.

Tax is pretty irrelevant when making huge losses!

Well I did say I know fuck all tbf.  Big Grin

Prag forgot to mention that the 6th April relates to personal taxation and has fuck all to do with corporation tax.

Diggers made the same mistake regarding Glastonbury tickets.

You are quite right.

My take is if we were overly concerned about paying back this loan surely we would have sold a couple of players last week and we had the chance too. We kept and loaned out Taylor and bought in three players who have to be paid.
I just think Goldberg and his mate Lepkowski are just scare monger’s who enjoy bringing our club down

I haven’t a clue about any of this and don’t understand most of it, but I do think that something needs to be said about the takeover soon.

Goldberg is talking nonsense.  A little knowledge is dangerous.  He clearly doesn’t understand the corporate structure.  It isn’t “our” debt at all.  It’s Lai’s problem.

Guaranteed that West Brom News will be repeating his inaccurate drivel tomorrow.

I wonder what the Chinese take away from this deal .foo king hell.

Cookies when compared to the fortune they paid.

If/when the takeover is complete, are we going to fact check ITK posts in this thread?

The BBC article for the M'Vila interest states "it is now understood that an alternative proposal involving Cheshire-based lawyer Chris Farnell and local businessman Alex Hearn is not now, nor has it ever been, in the running to buy the club.".

Was never really on but would be interesting to revisit what some have put.

Did the BBC mention in that article that they’d published an article a few weeks ago stating they’d received a copy of an email sent to Lai with revised terms to the takeover from Hearn?  I bet they never.

I did wonder why someone would send the BBC the details of a proposed bid to take over the club as it could only have come from Hearn’s side or the club’s side.

Only if it includes prizes or violent punishments according to where people end up
